Comprehensive assessment of frailty score as a tool to assess potential recovery in cardiac surgery

We read with great interest the recent article by Yanagawa and colleagues.1 The authors conclude that routine frailty assessments should be implemented in cardiac surgery, and that we need to develop better tools with long-term outcome measures to assess potential recovery.
