Predictors of failed operative vaginal delivery: A prospective population-based cohort study

Introduction: Failed attempted OVD (aOVD) followed by C-section is associated with significantly increased adverse perinatal outcomes compared to spontaneous vaginal delivery. Thus, knowledge of indicators prior to aOVD that are related to failed aOVD might improve clinical decision-making and clinical outcomes.
