Emergency room utilization is high after esophagectomy and feeding tube problems are the biggest culprit

Esophagectomy is a complex operation with potential for prolonged recovery. We aimed to identify the incidence of and risk factors for any and frequent emergency department visits within 1 year of esophagectomy.
