Milosh Perovitch Travel Grant Application Deadline – 30th Nov 2014 Milosh Perovitch was a Yugoslav physician who spent several years of his academic career in the Department of Radiology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution (JHMI) in the 1960′s and 1970′s. Upon his death in 2006, Dr. Perovitch made a bequest to the JHMI Neuroradiology Division, in honor of Dr. Perovitch’s close ties to Europe, to offer reverse sabbaticals to Europeans willing to visit Johns Hopkins for a period 2-4 weeks. The goal of the visit is to exchange knowledge and develop collaborations. The stipend would be used to defray the visitors’ expenses for the month as a travel grant. Expenses over the allotted amount ($10,000 US) would have to be covered by the grantee. The Division of Neuroradiology is now accepting applications for a visit for calendar year 2015. The application process is a 1-2 page letter addressed to David M. Yousem, Division Director at dyousem1@jhu.edu, detailing: 1) Proposed material (educational, clinical, research) to be exchanged with Johns Hopkins Faculty and fellows and residents in the area of neuroradiology 2) If appropriate, proposed technique (interventional or otherwise) which could be taught/shared 3) Months of availability in 2015 and length of stay requested (up to one month) Contact information for one professional reference letter of recommendation.
