Winners of Inaugural Poster Session Announced at ImageTrend Connect

LAKEVILLE, MINN. - ImageTrend, Inc. is pleased to announce the winners of the Inaugural Poster Session from ImageTrend Connect 2018. The posters were fitting in theme with the conference topics of using data to improve patient care, public safety and operational efficiencies. Participants demonstrated what they are doing to make an impact within their community using original research, interventions, data analysis, new programs or calls to action. Posters were available throughout the conference as a process sharing and ideating opportunity for all attendees, however a panel of judges took on the duty of awarding the top three. The winners are: 1st Place: Geocoding Mortality due to Traumatic Brain Injury represented by Gold Coast University Hospital, Australia. Authored by Brandis & co-authors 2nd Place: Evaluation of a Patient Flow Protocol for Level I Traumas to the surgical Intensive Care Unit, represented by New York-Presbyterian/Queens. Authored by Stankiewicz & co-authors 3rd Place: Surveillance of Occupational Fatalities, Injuries and Exposures among Personnel Using State-Based NEMSIS Data, represented by Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services.
