Vascular Dysfunction in the Pathogenesis of Severe Malaria (R01)

Funding Opportunity RFA-HL-15-023 from the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts. The purpose of this FOA is to solicit multiple-Program Director/Principal Investigator (PD/PI) applications that propose collaborative studies to address the role of vascular activation and dysfunction in the pathogenesis of severe malaria. Multidisciplinary teams of investigators are needed to identify pathways and regulatory mechanisms by which vascular factors contribute to the complex etiology of severe malaria.
