Dasatinib Suppresses TGF β-Mediated Epithelial–Mesenchymal Transition in Alveolar Epithelial Cells and Inhibits Pulmonary Fibrosis

ConclusionsThese findings suggest that DAS inhibited TGF β-mediated EMT of alveolar and bronchial epithelial cells and attenuated BLM-induced lung fibrosis in mice by suppressing the TGFβ/Smad pathway. DAS may be a promising and novel anti-fibrotic agent for preventing lung fibrosis.
