The rate of endophthalmitis after pars plana vitrectomy and its risk factors

ConclusionOur results indicated low incidence of endophthalmitis after pars plana vitrectomy comparable to previous studies which resulted in poor visual acuity. It seems that not using tamponade might increase the risk of endophthalmitis among these patients.
