Move More for Heart Month

Go4Life, an exercise and physical activity campaign from the National Institute on Aging at NIH, is designed to help you fit exercise and physical activity into your daily life. Promoting February as American Heart Month, they have these suggestions. Heart disease can be prevented, and you can lower your risk by being more active. Endurance, or aerobic, activities can help. Endurance exercises increase your breathing and heart rate and improve the health of your heart, lungs and circulatory system. Try biking, brisk walking, dancing, climbing stairs or swimming to help you improve your endurance. Learn more about endurance from this GO4Life video.
