Bone density and microarchitecture in hepatitis C and HIV-coinfected postmenopausal minority women
ConclusionHIV+/HCV+ postmenopausal women had significantly lower spine aBMD and vBMD. These deficits in vBMD may contribute to bone fragility and excess fractures reported in HIV+/HCV+ women.
