In conclusion, Piog treatment is effective to modulate the oxidative and inflammatory status, cell senescence, and lipid metabolism, contributing to attenuate several aging-related disorders in the aged apoE-/- mice, thereby maybe a promising protective therapy of aging and age-related diseases.
