Body composition assessment in COPD and pulmonary hypertension patients
Conclusion: Subjects with COPD and PH had a high quantity of fat mass as well as a reduced muscle mass and deteriorated membrane cell than subjects with COPD without PH. That fact could explain the low muscle force, functional capacity and worse prognosis in this subjects.
