Georgia State gets more than $1 million to help curb smoking in China, Vietnam

The Fogarty International Center of the National Institutes of Health gave researchers at Georgia State University's School of Public Health a more than $1 million grant to help smokers in China and Vietnam quit. China and Vietnam have some of the highest cigarette smoking rates in the world among males. More than 40 percent of men smoke in these countries, but only 2 percent of women are smokers.
