Measurement Bias of Gross Pathologic Compared With Radiologic Tumor Size of Resected Lung Adenocarcinomas: Implications for the T-Stage Revisions in the Eighth Edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer Staging Manual.
Conclusions: Compared to radiologic measurements, gross pathologic measurements cluster around whole- and half-cm values. This measurement bias could lead to incorrect pathologic tumor staging and influence clinical treatment plans.
