Erythema elevatum diutinum-like dermatosis associated with pulmonary fibrosis: A case report

A 74-year-old woman with a history of high blood pressure and carpal tunnel syndrome with worsening violaceous plaques on her legs went to the dermatology department. She only had family history of rheumatoid arthritis with a distant cousin. Her skin disease began in summer 2013 as oozing erythematous plaques on the distal lower limbs. This condition rapidly involved her thighs as well. She also complained of burning sensations and pruritus. During summer 2014, she was treated a few weeks with systemic corticosteroid for her lesions with no improvement of her condition.
