Request for Proposals: Histiocytosis Association Research Grant Program In order to be eligible for a Histiocytosis Association grant, an applicant must be a full-time faculty member at an academic institution. The funding level for the 2014 Research Grant applications is up to $50,000. Any grants requesting funding in excess of $50,000 will not be considered for the 2014 grant cycle. The Histiocytosis Association will not fund overhead costs, travel budgets or principal investigator salaries. • Applicants/investigators must register (create a login and password) with Wizehive via the Histiocytosis Association’s website, www.histio.org. Once Applications/Investigators register, a research proposal can be submitted. • Proposals must be submitted via the Histiocytosis Association website at www.histio.org/RFRP. • Proposals will be accepted from May 15, 2014 to July 1, 2014. • Files must be uploaded as a compressed, single file PDF (maximum size of 4,000 KB). • Proposals must use standard formatting requirements (11 point Arial font, ½ inch margins). • The uploaded proposal may not exceed six (6) pages; proposals exceeding this specified limit of six (6) pages will be returned without review. • Proposals must indicate other sources of funding. • Applicants/investigators will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of their proposal by email.
