Teleneurology beyond stroke: a component of value-based specialty care (P3.034)

Conclusions:Teleneurology aims to bring expertise to the patient and not the reverse. Initially conceived as means to improve access to acute stroke care, it can be viewed as a tool with farther reaching capabilities. Such pathways are becoming increasingly common across the country, whereby our broad experience may assist prospective programs in increasing access to expertise in a safe, effective, and patient-centered and value-based approach to neurologic care.Disclosure: Dr. Cohen has received personal compensation for activities with EM Gladiators LLC. as a Medical app developer and Decibel Therapeutics as a consultant.
