GI procedures besides colonoscopy?
Completed IM rotation (M3) and in Cardiology there seems to be a lot of different procedures and tests when I read patient's notes. There's Angioplasty/Cath/Stent, CABG, Electrical Ablations, Valve replacements, etc. I've heard of a ton coming up. In GI, it seems like the only procedure I've seen is a sigmoidoscopy, EGD, or colonoscopy which can be therapeutic as they remove the polyp. I also don't see those going away because how can it when you have to go in and pluck thing something out....
