College of American Pathologists Foundation Informatics Award The field of pathology has experienced dramatic growth in the area of informatics, clinical applications, standardized reporting and laboratory test utilization, electronic health records, workflow, and patient safety. Experts attribute the growth to external financial and health care pressures. CAP ’14 will give you exposure to real-world, practical applications in the ever-evolving field of informatics. You will have direct access to industry leaders and a choice of several courses presented by experts in the informatics field. The CAP Foundation cordially invites pathology residents to apply for a CAP Foundation Informatics Award for travel to CAP ’14. Funding up to $1,000 is available; recipients will be expected to focus their meeting experience and learning on the field of informatics. About the Award The CAP Foundation award has been made possible through the generosity of the Dito Family and donors to the William R. Dito, MD, Fund for Informatics.
