Moffitt study highlights importance of regular lung cancer screenings for those at high risk

Lee Moffitt Cancer Center& Research Institute) A new study by researchers at Moffitt Cancer Center found patients who tested negative for lung cancer by a detailed X-ray screening called low-dose helical computed tomography but later went on to develop lung cancer within the following two years had poorer outcomes than patients who initially had a non-cancerous positive LDCT screen.
