A Large Pancreatic Pseudocyst Complicating Pregnancy
A 31-year-old woman in the 19th week of her fifth pregnancy with a medical history of type 2 diabetes mellitus presented with 1 week of intermittent right upper quadrant and epigastric abdominal pain with radiation to her back. She also reported associated nausea, decreased appetite, and bloating. She had similar pain 3 years ago during her last pregnancy but had no known history of pancreatitis or gallstone disease and denied alcohol abuse. Her physical exam was normal except for a gravid abdomen and tenderness to palpation in the right upper quadrant and epigastric regions.
