Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health Public Health Preparedness Fellowship Program Deadline for electronic submission of application: 04/22/2014 Deadline for ASPPH's receipt of hardcopy materials: 04/23/2014 The ASPPH Public Health Preparedness Fellowship Program, a collaborative effort between the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), is a unique, short term training opportunity offered to graduates of ASPPH member, CEPH accredited schools and programs of public health. The selected fellow will work with national experts in public health preparedness to help build sustainable capacity for local public health emergency response for a period of four (4) months. NACCHO is a national organization representing the approximately 3,000 local health departments nationwide; its vision is health, equity, and security for all people in their communities through public health policies and services. NACCHO’s Public Health Preparedness work spans both practice and policy helping to build sustainable capacity for local public health emergency response.
