Aortic Atherosclerosis: A Common Source of Cerebral Emboli, Often Overlooked!

We present a case of cerebral embolism arising from a mobile noncalcified complex aortic arch plaque diagnosed on a transesophageal echocardiogram and review the literature on its diagnosis, clinical implications, and management.
