 Partnership Provides New Milling MachineWith Resin Nano Ceramic Materials for Single-Appointment RestorationsATLANTA – Carestream Dental today announced that its CS 3000 milling machine has earned approval from 3M ESPE to work with the company’s Lava Ultimate Restorative, a resin nano ceramic material. Officially launched as part of the CS Solutions CAD/CAM restoration portfolio at the 2013 American Dental Association Annual Session, the CS 3000 enables practitioners to mill aesthetic, anatomically accurate restorations in a single appointment.The CS 3000 is a Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) tool featuring a 4-axis brushless motor that produces high-quality restorations with ± 25 µm accuracy. The system’s compact design and quiet, vibration-free milling allow practitioners to use the machine anywhere, even chairside. Additionally, the CS 3000’s sturdy construction provides high torsion-resistance with minimum deviation for precise milling, even after years of use.
