CSAP expects MSIs to partner with one or more community-based organization(s) (CBO) to provide integrated SA, Hepatitis-C (HCV), and HIV prevention programs to African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American/Pacific Islander (AA/PI) and American Indian/Alaska Natives (AI/AN) young adults (ages 18-24) in the surrounding communities.
Applicants are required to base their projects on the five steps of SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF). During the implementation phase, MSIs are expected to work with their collaborating CBOs to conduct the following tasks:
