New books mark 100 years since Einstein's general theory of relativity

(The Hebrew University of Jerusalem) Two new books released today mark the centenary of Einstein's general theory of relativity, a revolutionary explanation of how gravity works that had far-reaching consequences. Not only did it explain the motion of the planets; it also described the history and expansion of the universe, the physics of black holes, and the bending of light from distant stars and galaxies.
