Analgesic effect of electroacupuncture on pain in Parkinson's disease and mechanism based on rs-fMRI
Background: Pain is a common symptom of Parkinson's disease(PD), for which there is currently no effective treatment. This clinical aimed to investigate whether electroacupuncture (EA) on the primary motor cortex could reduce pain in patients with PD and to explore the mechanism behind its analgesic effect.
