Urticarial vasculitis
We present an exceptionally rare case of urticarial vasculitis (UV) secondary to Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) as a paraneoplastic syndrome. To the best of our knowledge, there have been no documented cases of UV secondary to untreated HL in the literature to date. The UV is a complex disorder that can be a presenting symptom of a wide range of underlying systemic syndromes with multiorgan involvement, notably autoimmune disease and malignancy. The pathophysiologic mechanism behind UV as a paraneoplastic syndrome of malignancy, specifically lymphoma, is poorly understood and warrants further research.
