APRI as a predictor of severe dengue fever

CONCLUSION: APRI is a straightforward index that can be easily derived from AST and platelet values. APRI values of >3.2 can predict severe dengue with a sensitivity of 69.2 and a specificity of 84.2. APRI values of >3.2 are also associated with the length of hospital stay and requirement of platelet transfusion.PMID:38605798 | PMC:PMC11006074 | DOI:10.4103/jfmpc.jfmpc_1127_23
