Dynamics of Cognitive and Affective Adaptation to Chronic Low Back Pain: A Daily Diary Study

Constructs such as pain intensity, pain catastrophizing, pain-related injustice appraisal, and mood are comprised of stable and time-varying variance. Recent research indicates that pain-related injustice appraisals also show variability at the daily level; however, daily interrelationships between injustice appraisals and other pain-related constructs have not been examined in prior research. The current study is a secondary data analysis of an Internet-based 10-day daily diary dataset from 200 adults with chronic low back pain.
