Increase in Functional Tic Presentations in Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Minority Youth During COVID-19

Functional tic disorders are among the least common functional movement disorders, but their prevalence rose notably during the COVID-19 pandemic. While it is well-known that female adolescents have higher rates of functional neurologic disorders than males, investigations into sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) status of these patients are limited.
