Health Literacy and Disease Knowledge of Patients With Peripheral Arterial Disease or Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm: A Scoping Review
CONCLUSION: This scoping review revealed low health literacy and low disease knowledge in patients with AAA or PAD. Standardised health literacy assessment may contribute to improve communication strategies and decision aids to enhance patients' understanding and engagement in healthcare decisions, however further research is needed to prove its merits.PMID:38552837 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejvs.2024.03.040
