The association between genetic polymorphisms of matrix metalloproteinases and knee osteoarthritis: A systematic review and meta ‐analysis

ConclusionsPresent evidence suggested that the gene polymorphisms of MMP-1-1607 1G/2G may not be associated with the risk of OA. But, the dominant model of MMP-3 and MMP-13 polymorphisms in Asian ethnicity was significantly correlated with knee OA.
