Perceptions of Nurses Regarding Opioid Administration: A cross-sectional study

Pain is defined as “an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with, or resembling that associated with actual or potential tissue damage” (Raja et al., 2020, p. 1976). Pain is a common reason for seeking health care (Posso et al., 2013). Various pharmacological and nonpharmacological methods are us ed in pain control. Pharmacological methods are important in effective pain management (Rababa et al., 2021). The severity and type of pain are important criteria in choosing analgesics for pain treatment.
