Delays in cervical cancer treatment initiation for patients living with or without HIV in Botswana: An observational cohort analysis (2015-2019)
CONCLUSIONS: Delays in care are common in Botswana, particularly for those living farther from the treatment clinic and at advanced stages. This paper is among the first to show an association between treatment delays and worsened OS at advanced stages of cervical cancer, highlighting the need for interventions to help patients receive timely care in global settings.PMID:38462016 | DOI:10.1016/j.ijrobp.2024.02.038
