Cemented is not superior to cementless total knee arthroplasty for complications: a propensity score matched analysis

ConclusionsThis study found a comparable risk of PJI and aseptic loosening in cementless and cemented TKA when controlling for several comorbidities, such as tobacco, diabetes, and alcohol. Therefore, with proper patient selection, cementless TKAs can be performed with expectation of low risks of infections and aseptic loosenings.
