A novel technique to quantify the kinetics of blood clot contraction based on the expulsion of fluorescently labeled albumin into serum

CONCLUSIONS: The resulting clot contraction dynamics based on the expulsion of FITC-albumin can be quantified using a number of kinetic parameters as well as a phase kinetics analysis. The advantages and drawbacks of the new technique are discussed.PMID:38401713 | DOI:10.1016/j.jtha.2024.02.012
