Dual drainage in “partial” anomalous pulmonary venous connection

A 27-year-old woman with dyspnea on exertion was evaluated with transthoracic echocardiography which showed an ostium secundum atrial septal defect and a partially anomalous pulmonary venous connection (PAPVC) with right-inferior pulmonary vein draining into the coronary sinus. A cardiac CT angiography was performed for further anatomic delineation which revealed an unusual dual drainage pattern of PAPVC. The right inferior pulmonary vein and left inferior pulmonary vein were seen draining into the coronary sinus, while the left superior pulmonary vein was seen draining into the left brachiocephalic vein (Fig.  1).
