Gender-Diverse Patients' Awareness and Utilization of Gender-Affirming Laryngological Services

CONCLUSION: Most respondents (89%) were linked to the medical community through a PCP. A greater proportion of respondents with a PCP had accessed professional voice therapy and voice surgery compared with respondents without a PCP, though this difference was not statistically significant. Increased communication between GALS providers and PCPs would raise awareness of available services and may strengthen the referral pipeline to increase access to vocal care.LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level III.PMID:38375825 | DOI:10.1177/00034894241232488
