The role of CEUS in the management of biloma
ConclusionsThis case demonstrates that Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound (CEUS) presents a straightforward, secure, and precise approach to detect biliary leakage responsible for the formation of a biloma. Additionally, the adoption of CEUS offers the dual benefit of minimizing radiation exposure for the patient and obviating the requirement for anesthesia. In summary, CEUS emerges as a compelling alternative to conventional diagnostic methods for effectively managing a biloma.
