Incidence of macular displacement after rhegmatogenous retinal detachment surgery using ultra-widefield fundus autofluorescence

ConclusionIn this representative cohort of eyes that underwent RRD surgery with systematic screening for postoperative retinal displacement by UWF fundus autofluorescence, 11% of eyes experienced an inferior retinal shift. As in other cohorts, the presence of metamorphopsia was not associated with the occurrence of retinal shift.
