IPM is a sustainable approach to managing pests that combines biological, cultural, physical, and chemical tools in a way that minimizes economic, health, and environmental risks. The grantee will conduct a national program, using their existing organizational structure and established relationships with school districts throughout the US, to further IPM adoption by schools. EPA encourages projects that utilize consortia, partnerships, and other collaborative means of conducting the project.
