Obstructed hemivagina and ipsilateral renal anomaly (OHVIRA) syndrome, a rare congenital disorder, is estimated to occur in 1 out of 1000000 people. The OHVIRA is usually associated with uterine malformations; its symptoms include abdominal pain correlated with menstruation.
