Virtual Reality as Anesthetic Alternative for Ablation of Non-inducible Ventricular Arrhythmia

The anesthetic management of patients undergoing ventricular arrythmia ablation can vary from local anesthetic infiltration, moderate sedation, to general anesthesia (GA). The ideal anesthetic strategy for ablation of ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) is variable based on targeted arrhythmia, procedure time, patients age, comorbidities, risk of airway obstruction, and patient ability and/or desire to cooperate. In general, shorter acting agents are preferred to easily manipulate depth of anesthesia.
