41. Feasibility of Snack Provision in a Multidisciplinary Eating Disorder Clinic
Eating disorders in adolescents and young adults have been on the rise over the last several years, especially since the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic. This has led to an increase in inpatient hospitalizations as well as increase in teens and their families seeking outpatient treatment and therapy of their eating disorder. Due to the high risk of physical and nutritional decompensation, early diagnosis and intervention may lead to better outcomes. Family Based Treatment (FBT) is an evidence-based treatment approach that is recommended for patients with eating disorders, primarily Anorexia Nervosa.
