187. Daily Incontinence Context, Incontinence Negativity and Daily Mood Among Adolescents and Young Adults With Spina Bifida: Data from an Ecological Momentary Assessment Study

Research suggests that adolescents and adolescents and young adults with spina bifida (AYASB) find chronic SB-associated health conditions like urinary (UI) or fecal (FI) incontinence to generally bothersome. However, no studies evaluate specifically how different features of incontinence - such as frequency, volume or activity interference – may impact AYASB daily well-being. Because UI and FI are lifelong conditions, these data could support well-being focused interventions across the lifespan.
