Does Duration Of Gdmt Up-titration Affect The Percentage Of Hfimpef Attainment?

Heart failure with improved ejection fraction (HFimpEF) is defined as heart failure with previous LVEF ≤40% and a follow-up LVEF>40%. Although it does not reflect full myocardial recovery, HFimpEF is a marker of GDMT's effectiveness. Not all patients, however, are able to attain HFimpEF, and the factors behind the development of HFimpEF remain under investigation. One of those factors is the duration of GDMT up-titration, that is, the time between GDMT initiation and reaching maximally tolerated dose.
