Extent of normal polyp resection margin: a possible quality measure for polyp resection
We examined the extent of a normal mucosal tissue margin surrounding 1–10 mm neoplastic polyps following cold snare resection as a possible surrogate marker for quality of resection. Following a standard polyp preparation protocol, we found a complete resection rate (R0) based on clear margin of the polyp specimen of 84.8%.
