EE381 Health Benefits and Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Early Breast Cancer Diagnosis in Bulgaria
Breast cancer (BC) is one of the leading causes of death among women. Worldwide, BC is responsible for 15% of deaths caused by the disease. According to the World Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), 1.67 million women worldwide were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, with 522,000 dying because of the disease. The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the health benefits of early Breast cancer diagnosis in Bulgaria.
