ConclusionBariatric surgery affects esophageal and GEJ physiology, and it is associated with higher rates of secondary dysmotility. DH patients have even higher rates of dysmotility. Further studies assessing clinical data and their correlation with manometric and pH-metric findings are needed.Graphical Abstract
